Meet the Rock Recovery Charities Team

Jane K. Gordon
Founder

Jane K. Gordon is a 25-year veteran producer of television and radio and has worked with some of the biggest names in the rock and entertainment industry. Jane’s personal experience losing her 28-year-old son to alcohol addiction inspired her to deliver the healing power of music and share the stories of those who have inspired her during this difficult journey with the goal of providing hope to those who suffer from addiction as well as the loved ones it impacts.

In addition to her professional career accomplishments, Jane is an Executive Member of Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Board of Directors, overseeing all branding, marketing, and public relations for the charity and the annual fundraisers.  She is an active advocate for teens, as well as alcohol and drug addiction treatment prevention, and is the host of her own podcast, Rock Recovery, featuring in-depth interviews of addiction recovery from many of the world’s most renowned rock musicians and entertainers.

Lionel Estrada
Program Director

Lionel Estrada, LISAC, is a long time Valley musician living the “rock and roll lifestyle” with drugs and alcohol as the fuel to madness and homelessness. By the grace of God, Lionel got sober at Crossroads for men in 2017. Crossroads gave him a new life and job which led to going back to school for a Master’s in Substance Abuse Counseling and is now an Independently Licensed therapist. Previously, Lionel was Clinical Director at Cornerstone Healing Center and is is currently Primary Therapist at Scottsdale Providence Recovery Center. Music remains the catalyst for his life as well as a lifelong dedication to helping others find a new life in recovery.

James Austin Murray
Songwriter/Performer

James Austin Murray, widely known by his stage name JAM, is a 28-year-old accomplished songwriter and performer whose music has resonated deeply with audiences across the globe. His passion for music and natural ability to connect with listeners have made him a standout figure in the industry. JAM’s career has been marked by impressive achievements, including the remarkable opportunity to open for the legendary Bob Marley’s band, The Wailers, a milestone that underscored his talent and rising influence. He has also shared the stage with rock icons like Alice Cooper and the Hollywood Vampires, experiences that have enriched his musical journey and expanded his reach. Beyond his professional accomplishments, JAM is celebrated as a “man of the people,” an artist who remains grounded and accessible, always in tune with the spirit of his fans. His genuine nature and commitment to his craft shine through in every performance, creating an unforgettable experience that leaves a lasting impression. As he continues to evolve as an artist, JAM’s dedication to his music and his fans promises an exciting future filled with more electrifying performances and meaningful connections.

Troy Meiss
Songwriter/Performer

Troy Meiss has been playing music professionally since 1988 and has been very fortunate to have worked and played with some greats. His musical journey began with the New Jersey critical darlings, the Feelies, whom he still plays and works with. In 1994 Troy scored the gig as the Meat Puppets rhythm guitarist and spent a couple of years with them in the heyday of the grunge period. He was fortunate to work and play with such amazing bands as Nirvana, Blind Melon, the Stone Temple Pilots, Local H, and Sublime. Troy still performs in bands and has played over 500 acoustic solo gigs in the past 35 years. As an artist in recovery, Troy is very active in service and giving back to both the music and recovery worlds. He knows firsthand the amazing healing power of music and is excited to be involved in this cause.

Eleeza Camarillo
Performer/Vocalist

Hailing from Yuma, Arizona, Eleeza moved to Phoenix in 2014 and began performing in 2019. Noted as a “Vocal Powerhouse,” Eleeza has gone from busking in the streets of downtown to recording professionally with Alice Cooper, opening for acts such as Sammy Hagar,  Foreigner, and many more. Her extensive range of genres and sultry blend of riffs and runs have garnered her many opportunities, including the proud title of Soloist Winner in Alice Cooper’s Proof is in the Pudding 2022. Whether in the studio or on the stage, you’ll hear inspiration from greats like Whitney Houston, Pat Benatar, and Amy Winehouse. Through faith and music, Eleeza has found healing that has built enough resilience to last a lifetime and continues to grow.

Emily Hartshorn
Studio Engineer/Musician

Emily Hartshorn is a musician, songwriter and engineer from Kauai, Hawaii. Growing up, her primary musical background consisting of teaching, serving on worship teams, and fronting her own rock bands, Stonehenge, and now, Mechagodzilla. She graduated from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in early 2024, and has been bringing her goals of unifying the music-making process to life engineering at Alice Cooper’s Rock Teen Centers.
